Round the Bend

This scene was painted on private land near Marble Falls, Tx. The day was overcast with a constant threat of rain. I had to stop painting and make a dash for safety in my van for a bit, but was able to finish the painting after the rain passed. I love painting roads and paths, especially those with a curve or turn at the end. I hope the viewer can imagine themselves walking through this beautiful woods amongst the Texas wildflowers.
