This nocturne painting was done at LBJ Marina just outside of Marble Falls, Texas. Painting at night time was quite the challenge as bugs swarmed around the overhead light and I strained to see the subject in the darkness. I am very pleased with the way this painting turned out. I imagine the boats asleep in the marina, dreaming of their next outings on the water.
